Most of a project’s attention goes to keeping track of it.

A complex project creates hundreds of small things to remember, check and chase. They don’t all need you.

  • What changed since last week?

  • Which version is the contractor looking at?

  • Where did that comment go?

Our tools should amplify what we do, not replace us
Ponk, founder.
Architect for over ten years.

An architect’s value is judgement, creativity and design. HTCH was started by architects who know what it is to obsess over a detail and then watch it go missing on site.

So HTCH keeps track of the project in the background. The decisions stay with you.

HTCH works alongside the tools you already use.

  1. 1Bring in your project

Upload PDFs, images and 3D models, or publish straight from SketchUp and Rhino.

  2. 2Work together

Your team and clients view, mark up, comment and respond in one place. Clients view free.

  3. 3HTCH keeps track

Versions and feedback stay together, so what changed is never a search.

One place to look, mark up and decide

  • Mark up the model

Draw and annotate directly on the drawing or 3D view, together and live

  • Pin comments to an exact view

A comment keeps the angle it was made from, so nobody has to describe where

  • Spotlight and follow

Lead a review and everyone sees what you see

  • Every file in one place

Drawings, models and images, organised and always the current version

HTCH runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install. It opens .jpg, .gif, .pdf, .obj, .gltf and .glb files, with plugins for SketchUp and Rhino.

What architects say once the project keeps track.

  • “This totally changes the way we work.”
    FeiArchitect, Bangkok
  • “I just send a link and all the building files and discussions are there.”
    LindseyArchitect, London
  • “Great for discussing elements of repair with building surveyors.”
    JulianArchitect, London
  • “Love the Whiteboard feature.”

Questions architects ask.

We’re only a small practice. Do we really need another tool?

Probably not another project-management tool. HTCH is built for small teams sharing design work with people outside the studio — especially clients and collaborators who don’t use specialist architecture software.

We all sit together. Why wouldn’t we just talk?

You should. HTCH isn’t there to replace conversation. It keeps the design, feedback and decisions from those conversations together, so nobody has to remember what was agreed afterwards.

We already use email, Drive and SharePoint. Why add HTCH?

Keep using them. HTCH isn’t trying to replace every tool around your project. It gives the design one shared place to view, review and discuss — without asking clients to navigate your internal file system.

My clients aren’t technical. Will they actually use it?

That’s who HTCH is designed for. They open a link in their browser — no specialist software, powerful computer or training required.

I don’t work in 3D. Is HTCH still useful?

Yes. HTCH supports 2D documents and images as well as 3D models, so the same project can contain drawings, images, PDFs and models.

Is this going to create more admin for me?

It shouldn’t. HTCH is designed around the opposite idea: your tools should take work away from you. Publish from tools such as SketchUp and Rhino, share one link, and keep the resulting feedback with the project.

Does everyone need to install HTCH?

No. HTCH runs in the browser. Anyone you invite can open the project from a link, including on a phone or tablet.

“I can concentrate on the design. HTCH is keeping track.”
